BRINGING PRIVATE APARTMENT LIVING TO A HOTEL CONCEPT

To achieve the feeling of privacy that comes with home, a number of design strategies were adopted such as omitting signage in the lift, displaying only floor numbers, and taking numerous measures towards noise reduction. The latter measure includes the specification of the sound dampening Swedish Bolon rug collection - admired by fashion icon Giorgio Armani - throughout the hotel’s hallways. When entering the guestrooms, visitors can enjoy a sense of well-being while walking barefoot on the wooden flooring and admiring the beauty of North American Oak. Further adding to the comforts and quiet of home, thick Parisian paper blinds, whose blackout effect is also used on LVMH yachts, ensure rooms are free from noise and distraction and premium Italian handmade Falomo mattresses with seven-stage relaxing ergonomic design and EU certification are included in all rooms.

LUXURY SUITES AND AMENTIES

The suites themselves are spacious, with a neutral colour scheme with cool blue toned accents. All suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, encouraging visitors to take in the views. The bathrooms are likewise spacious, and feature washbasins and toilets from Villeroy & Boch as well as free-standing bathtubs with views over the city. Other luxury design highlights include the Presidential Suite with gym and stunning infinity pool, a two-storey Japanese Michelin star restaurant and a a 4D kinetic installation by Germany’s Art+Come, which lends a dramatic element to the entry lobby.
